K. S. Rawat - About Myself a I was born in Village - Gurethkhal / Ghandiyal, P.O. Naithana, and Block - Kaljikhal, Patty - Maniyarsuin (east), District - Pauri Garhwal, Uttaranchal on 10th March 1968.

I did my schooling from my native village school - Raajkiya Inter College, Kanskhet and Graduation from Delhi University. I am also a diploma holder from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. I have got more than 10 years experience in inbound logistics and import/exports and presently working with SRF Limited in Source Material & Logistics Department. Prior SRF Limited, I had worked with ESCORTS HEART INSTITUTE & RESEARCH CENTRE, Okhla Road, New Delhi for 3 years.

Since I was born and studied in my village, I am well aware of the problems faced by the people living in remote villages. I am still very energetic and always striving hard with the support of our members for the betterment of our own community / society.

We are five brothers and now all are married & well settled. I have got three elder brothers and one younger brother it means I am the 4th one. My father Shri Ranbir Singh Rawat has also rendered his services to the poor people during his tenure as "VILLAGE PRADHAN".

Presently I am living in New Delhi alongwith my family. My wife is a housewife and I have 2 kids (one daughter & one son). I am looking forward to getting seriously involved with the mission and development of the society.

I love socializing with my fellow Uttaranchalis, traveling, listening 70s & 80s Hindi Filmi Songs, interacting in Garhwali dialect & watching TV News, Cricket and WWE.

Subhash Pokhriyal, a matured Uttaranchali of 35 years, born & brought up in Delhi. Son of Shri B N Pokhriyal, who is enjoying his retired life after servicing British High Commission & mother is God fearing and house-wife.

Married to Rachna in 1996 and blessed with two daughers. Elder daughter Aadya (8 years), studying in 4th standard at Cambridge School, Indirapuram & younger one Aastha (1&1/2 years), yet to go to kinder garden. Subhash has three elder sisters and a younger brother, all of them are marreid and well settled.

Since his childhoold, Subhash has an aim to do something for his community and Pauri Garhwal Group has given him a magnificiant plateform to fulfill his dreams.

A commerce graduate of Delhi University, Subhash did his schooling from public school in Delhi.
Under his cap, he has got a rich working experience of around fourteen years and currently placed with Indo Rama Synthetics (I) Limited as an Assistant Manager in its Corporate Office at New Delhi since 2001. Prior to Indo Rama, he was with JCT Electronics Limited, Thapar House, New Delhi, for almost eight years.

Subhash loves long driving, especially in hills of Uttaranchal, playing cricket, watching TV (selected channels like Discovery/National Geographic/News channel/Sports), listening music (Garhwali/old hindi songs), socializing with our own community.

R. P. Chamoli :- Born on 3rd March, 1969 at Rurkee, Uttranchal, Shri R. P. Chamoli who belongs to Pauri Garhwal, Uttaranchal is blessed to Shri K. L. Chamoli and Smt. S. D. Chamoli. His Father is Retired Ex-Service Man and mother is a house wife. His roots belongs to Village Dang, P. O. Ujjayari, Patty Gagwar Shaun, Distt. Pauri Garhwal, Uttaranchal where he bas spent his childhood.

After qualifying his senior secondary from New Delhi, he has been working with Ahimsa Foundation for last 15 years as Senior Web Developer and Manager of its web portal www.jainsamaj.org.

Married to Smt. Kusum Chamoli he is blessed with two daughters namely Himani & Siwani. Mrs. Chamoli is an Insurance Advisor and Consultant beside having Post Office Agency. Senior daughter is studying at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gole Market, New Delhi whether junior is enriching herself with a nearby nursery school.

His hobbies includes social work, traveling, listening music especially garhwali, poetry, watching cricket and surf the net.

C. K. Pandey : - Born on 29th April, 1959 at Delhi and did her schooling and college from Delhi only. She belongs to Tehri Garhwal, Vill. Gandasu (in-laws) and (mother's side). She has done B Com from Delhi University and M Com from Meerut University. She has also done Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations, Diploma in HRD and Diploma in Interior Decoration. She has very good experience in different organisations as Accounts & HRD person.

Married to Dr. P K Pandey and is blessed with daughter Karuna, doing BCA and son Prateek, doing B E (Computer Science).

She is staying at Delhi and at present working with a leading Automobile Industry.

I am Sunita Kathait. Though born in Faridabad, Haryana, I belong to Pauri Garhwal, Uttaranchal since both my parents were born and brought up in Uttaranchal (earlier part of Uttar Pradesh). I have spent many years in Uttarnchal (earlier part of Uttar Pradesh) and my native place is Village Dang, Post office Kaljikhal, Patty Patwalsyun, Pauri Garhwal, Uttaranchal. I got my Primary Education from Government Sc! hool, Kaljikhal, Uttaranchal. In order to pursue further studies We came to Faridabad in 1977 and settled here. I did Post Graduation from M. D. University, Rohtak, Haryana in 1990. I have also done diploma in Secretarial Practice and Information Technology.

Rajiv Naithani :� A 25 years old young guy (born on 24th February,1981), very energetic and always striving hard for the betterment of our own community. Was born in Pundori Village, P.O. Lwaly School, Patti Gagarsuain, Pauri Garhwal. When he was 4 years old, he was brought in to Delhi by his father. Since then he is here with his family.

Rajiv has done his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya and further studies too in Delhi. He has Master Degree in HR and also in English and also have done Diploma in Personnel Management.

Rajiv has more than 5 years of rich experience in corporate HR and is presently working with InterGlobe Technologies as Asst. Manager - HR Department. Prior joining to InterGlobe, Rajiv worked with HCL & Innodata India Pvt. Ltd., Noida.

Ravi Rawat :- Hi, firstly I extend my good wishes to all the Pauri Garhwalis entering the site and also those associated with the site, Group Members and others, who are putting their efforts to make the site a successful plateform and Pauri Garhwal yahoo Group to connect the Pahari families and friends with each other.

I am proud to be a Garhwali from a small village named Dobilya in Patty Paidalsyun, which is very near to Pauri Town, a beautiful small hill station. Pauri Garhwal as a whole very nice place to live, healthy and unpolluted air to breathe, bright sunshine and moonshine, clear environment to see far away and hear someone from far away.

Fortunately, my mother with one of my younger brother and his wife lives in the village. Whenever I go there I feel peace of mind and really a heaven like place to live. I did schooling from 4th upto 7th standard in my village and afterwards I have to took further studies in Chandigarh with my maternal uncle supporting me because of heavenly abode of my father.
